This half-day tour is the perfect addition to your Mexican Caribbean vacation portfolio in Cancun or the Riviera Maya. The program includes a visit to Akumal - a place where turtles live, as well as a cenote. Tour starts from lobby of your hotel, round trip transportation from/to your hotel included to the price. Basically, the guide is available during pickups, but sometimes they join later. Akumal has a specially designated area where tourists can snorkeling. After preparation in groups of up to 6 people, you will go to the marked spot for snorkeling with a guide. The sea depth at the snorkeling site is 2 to 4 meters (6-13 ft). Snorkeling time is approx. 30-45 minutes depend the temperature of the sea. A dressing room, restroom and fresh water shower are available in Akumal. After snorkeling and a short drive (approximately 25 minutes), your van will be parked close to the cenote, where you can explore the amazing underworld of the Yucatan. The crystal clear water of the cenotes is rich in minerals and akin to a natural spa treatment for guests of the peninsula.
